You can create your own cures for anxiety, and make your life much calmer.
Chronic anxiety can have a long term negative effect on your health. It can affect your blood pressure, metabolism, immune system and hinder your ability to think clearly. You can reduce your level of anxiety by using natural remedies.

Difficulty: Moderate
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Relax your body with massage therapy. This will reduce muscle tension. It will also get your blood circulating and allow oxygen and nutrients to flow to tissues throughout your body. It will also reduce your anxiety by lowering levels of hormones that your body produces when you are stressed.

  2. Step 2

One of the best cures for anxiety is deep breathing. Calm yourself using deep breathing exercises. This will slow your heart rate, and blood pressure. If you do this regularly, you will notice that your anxiety level is going down. You can do this by sitting in a comfortable position and breathe in slowly through your nose, hold your breath and count to seven, then slowly breathe out through your mouth.

  3. Step 3

Enjoy the calming effects of green tea. Green tea contains an amino acid called L-theanine. The extract from this amino acid will have a calming effect on your brain. It will help increase your production of dopamine, which is a chemical that has a sedating effect. Research suggests that it is as effective as medication.

  4. Step 4

Be sure to get enough of the B vitamins. Vitamin B1 can reduce your anxiety level, and calm your nerves. Niacinamide is a form of Vitamin B3 which can enhance your brain's ability to produce chemicals that can relax you. Vitamin B6 can also help you feel relaxed. This is one of the best cures for anxiety.

Tips & Warnings
  • Limit alcohol intake. Alcohol may calm you at first, but can leave you anxious after it wears off.
  • Avoid caffeine because it can make you jittery.
