Awww! Got a new bunny? I can give you some tips about how to care for it! I have a bunny too! Caring for a bunny can be hard work! But having a new little buddy is great.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A rabbit pen.
  • A water bottle.
  • Rabbit food
  • Something for it to chew on.
  • Rabbit hay. (Timothy hay is a good brand.)
  1. Step 1

Gather your bunny's things, (in the what you'll need box,) and put them in the right spot.

Let your bunny get used to it's new home. It's probably ok if you pet it about the first week, but I recommend not to pick it up until later.

  3. Step 3

You want to feed your bunny daily, or maybe every other day but little food each time. If you overfeed it, it could make your bunny very sick. But feed your bunny enough. About a half a handful would probably be good for a small bunny. For an average bunny, a little less than a handful.

  4. Step 4
This water bottle is too small. You need a bigger one than this one.

Also make sure your bunny has enough water each day. Make sure the bottle is always at least half way full.

The more love you give your bunny, the more your bunny loves you. Like the more you pet your bunny, and hold it, the less it will be scared of you, and act crazy!

  6. Step 6
    Hanging out in the shade!

Make sure your bunny stays out of a bunch of sun. A little is fine, but too much can kill your bunny.

  7. Step 7

Make sure a vet sees your bunny for a check-up, probably every 5-6 months. It depends on what your vet thinks.

  8. Step 8
A healthy bunny, is a happy bunny!

Check on your bunny daily, including, food, water, etc.

on 11/9/2008 They also like and need fresh veggies every day. I feed mine the veggies in the am and pm., along with hay and pellets. He also loves peanut butter crackers!
