How to keep your child safe outdoors

Always supervise children in swimming areas. Make sure children know about power lines. And limit sun exposure all of those are important things to consider when your children are playing outside.

Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Water areas
    Always watch them in or near open water.
    Have your children wear approved personal flotation devices until they learn to swim.

  2. Step 2

    Sun
    Keep infants out of the sun as much as possible.
    Use a sunscreen with an SPF (sun protection factor) of at least 15.

  3. Step 3

    Power lines
    Teach your child to never climb trees or fly kites near power lines.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't depend on life guards to watch your children.
