How to Make a great Pot of Chili

Making chili can be fun and easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 lbs of hamburger
  • 4 cans of tomoato soup
  • 1 can of sliced hot tomatos
  • 1 24 oz can of tomato sauce
  • 2 bags of uncooked kidney beans
  1. Step 1

    First rinse your dried kidney beans and make sure they are clean and then put them in a pot of water and cook for 2 hours and then drain and sit them to the side.

  2. Step 2

    brown the hamburger in a skillet adding chili powder and 2 minced garlic and salt and pepper season the meat and let is simmer.

  3. Step 3

    Drain the hamburger and put it in a pot and add the tomatoes soup and then only add 1 can of water. 1 packet of chili mix if you wish

  4. Step 4

    open the tomatoes and the tomato sauce and add it, then add chili powder salt and pepper and add the kidney beans and put it on low for 2 hours stir occasionally.

Tips & Warnings
  • this is an very inexpensive way to make a family mean, the tomato soup costs less then tomato sauce by about 1.00 and it is used i the same way as long as you do not add a can of water to it for each can you use in your chili. only 1 can is needed.
  • adding shredded cheese on top of the bowled chili always helps to make it a fulfilling meal.
  • putting the heat to high will scorch the sauce so keep everything nice and low.
