Things You'll Need:
- Creativity
-
Step 1
Everyone loves compliments. Try complementing your partner when they least expect it. For example, as soon as they wake up in the morning. Also, do not be afraid to compliment them in front of others.
-
Step 2
Leave short notes for your partner. They can be left in a coat pocket, car seat, briefcase, etc. E-mails tend to be too impersonal, but with a little creativity even e-mails can make your partner blush.
-
Step 3
Plan a special date for your partner. By "special," I mean something that you have never done before, rather than the standard dinner and movie.
-
Step 4
Occasionally call into work on your partner's day off, just to spend the day lounging with them. Of course you don't want to make this a habit, but every now and then it will not hurt. It will show your partner that they are more important than your job.
-
Step 5
Tell them why you love them. Be specific. Tell them why you love their hair, their lips, their legs, etc.
-
Step 6
Do not reserve gifts for special occasions. It doesn't have to be a holiday to have a gift delivered to your partner's work place.
-
Step 7
Make sure to have plenty of physical interaction. A hug or peck on the cheek is one of the easiest and best ways to convey affection.
