How to Enhance Blue Eyes

Blue eyes are beautiful and changing, but often times they fade into the colors of your face and the truest blue doesn't shine through. Here are some easy tricks to make your blues irresistible and brilliant.

1. Line it Up. Using eyeliner is a great way to define your eyes and increase the impact of your baby blues. Brown is a complementary color to blue, so it will pick up some really strong colors in your eye. Black is also good because it gives ultimate definition to your eyes, increasing the impact as well.

2. Mascara, Mascara, Mascara. No one should ever leave the house without mascara--it gives definition, shape, and femininity to your eyes. It's a beautiful and effortless addition to your daily makeup routine.

3. Shades of Blue. Using eye shadow can have very powerful results, and the colors often depend on the tones in your eyes. Some great colors to try: very light, sheer or shimmery greens, intense blue shades (especially for your crease), and light brown and golds. All of these colors tend to brighten and electrify blue eyes.
