Marigold is one of my favorites for getting rid of pests in the garden. It keeps away nematodes, Mexican bean beetles and a lot of other bugs. I plant it all through my garden.

Summer Savory helps deter bean beetles when planted by your beans.

Basil is not only a wonderful herb to cook with but, it is also helps repel flies and mosquitos. Plant this tasty treat next to tomatoes.

Dead nettle and Horseradish both keep potato bugs at bay.

Borage helps control tomato worms and is good planted next to squash and strawberries as well.

Garlic is wonderful for it's flavor as well as keeping aphids, and rose bugs away from your roses.
