Things You'll Need:
- to want to unload ownership of your house
- to live in a state where you can legally give your house away.
-
Step 1
Obviously to get money from a house you are losing, you can give a garage sale. The difference of making much more is that you can sell everything in your house in case you are going to be moving into smaller premises as opposed to making another bill by using a storage facility.
-
Step 2
To make money with a house you can no longer afford, try having an auction of your belongings.
not all states allow raffle of house--i actually was going to do this and went to states attorney to make sure it is legal -
Step 3
Now here's a tip that can help with your mortgage payments for a new house and it is legal for you to do it. Raffle off your house. Think about selling raffle tickets religiously, quickly on and offline. You can even register yourself as a business if you like for the event. This is what you will need to do.
-
Step 4
Once you have cleared with your state attorney's office that you indeed have the right to raffle your house, and or the ability to transfer ownership, determine the cost of your raffle ticket. The choice is yours. Imagine raffling off your house for $100.00, $50.00 or even $35.00 a ticket and selling any where between 10,000, 50,000, 100,000 or more tickets. It is not impossible to furnish enough money to purchase a new house, make a down payment for a condo or just simply find an apartment with this method.
-
Step 5
The winner of the raffle will get your house and your bills to take over, which still may be cheaper than if they went the route of trying to purchase one themselves through the banks or a mortgage firm.
-
Step 6
You may want to add the tip of making money with the house you are losing by purchasing emails list of real estate brokers. No reason not to include them in the raffle. Do research, and look up many all over the country.
-
Step 7
Of course if you are losing your house and just want to get rid of it, you can raffle it off in a contest for free. See if you can get any ideas or help from the websites in my resource tab. And don't forget there maybe valuable information in the other resources and links on this page that can give you ideas too.
