Adobe Photoshop is the premier image editing tool used by professionals and freelance graphic designers alike. Here is a brief tutorial on how to find styles for your text.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

Open Adobe Photoshop. Go to File, then click New. Choose a white background and any width and height for your canvas. Use RGB color mode. Leave it as Untitled, this is just a simple tutorial!

  2. Step 2

Find the Text tool, its symbol is the letter T. Click inside your white canvas and type in the words "Style Example".

  3. Step 3

Go to your Layers menu and highlight the layer with the text on it -- it will have the name "Style Example" if that is what you typed in. Right click the layer and go to Blending Options.

  4. Step 4

Above the Blending Options tab should be Styles. Click it to see all the default styles you have to choose from. Several are gradients, some are rainbows, others are three dimensional.

  5. Step 5

If you need more styles or would like to create your own, simply click on New Style on the right side of the window and you are on your way!
