When my daughter got married this summer her spouse was on a low carb diet. I developed this dish so her spouse does not feel left out when our family has lasagne.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1
     

    Spray loaf pan with cooking spray. Spread ½ cup of spaghetti sauce in bottom of pan. Spread cooked crumbled turkey sausage in bottom of pan. Spread ½ cup spaghetti sauce on top of turkey sausage.

  2. Step 2
     

    Sprinkle 2 oz of mozzarella cheese on top of spaghetti sauce.

  3. Step 3
     

    In mixing bowl blend 15 ounces of ricotta cheese with 1 large egg. Spread in loaf pan.

  4. Step 4
     

    Spread ½ cup spaghetti sauce over ricotta cheese. Sprinkle 2 ounces of mozzarella cheese over sauce.

  5. Step 5

    Cover with foil and bake in pre heated 375*F oven for 30 minutes.

Tips & Warnings
  • Serve with fresh salad and Italian garlic bread.
