How to Make Cocktail Sauce
Making homemade cocktail sauce is simple and easy, and always tastes better than cocktail sauce out of the bottle! Cocktail sauce can go with not only shrimp, but many other dishes as well. It's a very versatile dip, try some with cubes of Mozzerella cheese! Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- 1 cup catsup
- 1/2 cup horseradish
- 1 tbs lemon juice
- dash worchestershire sauce
- bowl
- spoon

Mix ketchup, horseradish, worchestershire sauce, and lemon juice in a large bowl. Stir ingredients well. If you like spicy cocktail sauce, go heavier on the horseradish. If you like a milder version of cocktail sauce, you can use less horseradish.

Cover cocktail sauce and chill. It doesn't take long to chill your cocktail sauce, but it does improve the flavor. It's also a nice touch to garnish your cocktail sauce with a slice or two of lemon and a sprig of parsley.

Serve cocktail sauce with shrimp or other seafood. Cocktail sauce also makes a great dipping sauce for several different things. Some to try with cocktail sauce are cheese cubes, cauliflower, or even french fries. Let your imagination run wild!
