How to Make a Candle Garden

Candle gardens are a great way to decorate a room and create a refreshingly warm atmosphere. Here are some simple steps to making your own candle garden for less than it would take to just buy one already put together.

• Transportation
• Local Hobby Lobby/Michaels/Craft store
• General idea of the size you want

1. Search the web.
   Search the web for pictures of different types of candle gardens to give yourself more of an idea of what you'd want your's to look like.
   Pick something out, and print the picture out.

2. Go to the store.
   Go to the store with the picture in your pocket.
   First look for the a platter for your candles and rocks or potpourri to set on.
   Once you've found your platter, look for candles similar to the ones in your picture (it's better when their different sizes and even different colors sometimes).
   Now that you've found your candels, look around for potpourri or rocks to go around the candles. Rocks are great for darker colored candles. Potpourri gives a little insentive because it smells great and looks amazing in a candle garden.

3. Go home and prepare your garden in the spot you'd like to display it.

• You want to buy duplicates of the candles for when time comes to switch them out.
