Seasonal Candy in Traditional Treat

Marshmallow crispy treats meet candy corn in this Halloween treat.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 10 cups crispy rice cereal
  • 9 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 cups candy corn
  • 3/4 cup mini chocolate chips
  • Orange food coloring (optional)
  1. Step 1

In a large bowl, mix together cereal, candy corn and chocolate chips.

  2. Step 2

Butter a jelly roll or pyrex pan.

  3. Step 3

Melt together butter and marshmallows, stirring until smooth, add food coloring, if desired. (Food coloring is to add more orange tint to treats but is optional and the amount is to your own judgment.)

  4. Step 4

Pour marshmallow mix to cereal mix, stirring together quickly until all combined.

  5. Step 5

Spread into greased pan, cover with waxed paper and press down with hands.

  6. Step 6

Cool, cut into squares and enjoy.
