Get a Tarot Card Reading

Having your tarot cards read is mysterious and exciting. Whether it’s for entertainment purposes only or you really believe that the cards can tell you the future, it’s definitely an avenue to consider exploring at some point in your life. However, how do you find someone to read your cards?

From Quick Guide: Tarot Reading 101
Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Answer an ad. Many tarot card readers will place a local advertisement letting people know of their services. These ads will give you information so that you can call the tarot reader up and schedule a consultation. You can also ask simple questions at this time such as: “What are your hours?” or “How much do your services cost?” You can also ask for referrals.

  2. Step 2

Look at independent contractors online. Numerous tarot readers supply their services online for a per minute phone fee or mail payments for e-mail readings. Keen has a multitude of tarot card readers that not only list their price per minute, they also allow you to read feedback from other callers so that you can get an idea of how authentic the tarot card reader is and what kind of encounter or feelings people had after having a reading. 3. Step 3

Visit a psychic fair. Psychic fairs have tarot card readers among their different booths where you can pay a onetime fee to have your cards read. These are usually tarot card readers that have an established work ethic and can give you insight on any questions you may have.

  4. Step 4

Get a word of mouth referral. The best referral in any business is by word of mouth. Friends or family members who have already visited with a tarot reader can give you the best idea of whom they trust and believe. Getting information from a person you know intimately will give you more knowledge of what to expect on the reading, cost and the tarot card reader themselves.

  5. Step 5

Read your own tarot cards. If you're not comfortable having someone read your cards, buy a deck of tarot cards and learn how to read your own cards. It's quite easy to do once you learn the basics, although tarot card readers are usually more experienced and attune to psychic feelings. However, if you are doing it for entertainment purposes or just want to learn how then by all means, do your own reading.

Tips & Warnings
  • Never ask a tarot card reader for free information. They're running a business just like everyone else.
