Planning a Perfect Date

Whether it's dinner for two or camping, the perfect date is up to you.

Planning a perfect date is about knowing the person you're dating. You don't have to spend a lot of money or plan an outrageous event to have the perfect date. All you have to do is know your date and plan accordingly.

Instructions

    • 1

Know your date. You should have at least some idea of this person's likes and dislikes and try to plan the date around those. For example, if the person you want to date enjoys history, you may want to plan part of your date at the museum. Or if the person of your dreams is an animal lover, consider starting your date at the local zoo.

    • 2

Decide when you want the date to be. Dates don't have to be on Friday and Saturday evening, and they don't have to last just a few hours. If you have something unique in mind that requires a full day, or daylight, don't hesitate to plan a daytime date. It says nothing about how much you like or dislike your potential date.

    • 3

Share your world. While it's true that you should plan to do something that interests your date, you should also share your interests. If you have a love of art, take your date to an art gallery or art museum.

    • 4

Determine the goal of the date. If your goal is to get to know your date, choose an activity that allows you to talk and interact, such as dinner or a walk in the park. On the other hand if your goal is to show your date a good time, choose something that is fun and different like rock climbing or a cooking class.

    • 5

Figure out what will make this date perfect for you. There is no one thing that makes a date "perfect"; perfect is in the eyes of the beholder. Once you know what will make your date perfect, you'll know what to do to plan it.

    • 6

Make preparations once the date is confirmed. If you need to make reservations or advance plans for your date, make sure it's done after you confirm the time and day of your date.

    • 7

Have fun on your perfect date.
