Halloween is a time to watch some classic horror films. One of those films is about a monster named Frankenstein. If your child has never seen Frankenstein, you may have to show her a picture. Tell her the story of Frankenstein and then help her create her own Frankenstein candy holder. The craft will be a unique way to distribute candy on Halloween night.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Soup can
  • Paint
  • Paintbrush
  • Corks
  • Super glue
  • Google eyes
  • Candy
  1. Step 1

Open a soup can with one of those can openers that open the lid on the sides. The edges will be smooth and then you can put the lid back on the soup can.

  2. Step 2

Put the soup in a plastic container or eat it. Wash the soup can out and allow it to have time to air dry.

  3. Step 3

Paint the soup can green. If you can still see the can through the paint then give it a second coat.

  4. Step 4

Paint the lid of the soup can black. This is Frankenstein's hair.

  5. Step 5

Glue two google eyes on the front of the can for Frankenstein's eyes.

  6. Step 6

Paint on a straight line for a Frankenstein nose. Then add a cut on Frankenstein's cheek.

  7. Step 7

Super glue one cork on each side of Frankenstein's head.

  8. Step 8

Fill the inside of the Frankenstein soup can with candy.

Tips & Warnings
  • You can also fill the soup can with fake spiders and give someone a scare.
  • Have an adult use the can opener so children don't get hurt.
