Finding gay resorts isn't always that easy. California is full of resorts, but not all of them are gay friendly, or made especially for gays. In order to truly have the best vacation, it is important to find gay resorts in California that fit your needs.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Visit Gay City USA (see Resources below) for some resorts that are gay friendly as well as tailored specifically to gay people. Talk to a travel agent and get the names of some gay resorts in California.

  2. Step 2

Once you have a list of names of resorts, begin to decide which one to go to. Make a list of the 25 resorts you would like to try, simply by reading the short descriptions that you are able to find. List them from lowest price to highest price. Cut out the highest priced ones if you cannot afford them.

  3. Step 3

Meet with a travel agent to find out the locations of the gay resorts. Use this information to narrow down your search.

  4. Step 4

Call the resorts that remain on your list and ask them about any specials that they might have. Also ask about any extras that come along with the price per night. Write this information down.

  5. Step 5

Compare all of the information that you have gathered and decide from your list which will be the best gay resorts for your vacation.

  6. Step 6

Read reviews on the internet or in travel magazines and choose the resort on your list that has the best reviews.

Tips & Warnings
  • Don't just pick a gay resort based on price alone.
