Instructions

    • 1

Wrap a few layers of masking tape around the wreath where the wire will be attached. This prevents the wire from cutting through the styrofoam wreath.

    • 2

Attach the wire around the wreath over the masking tape by looping it over the wreath and twisting it. Make a loop at the top to hang the wreath from.

    • 3

Break the toothpicks in half. Use clippers if needed.

    • 4

Insert the broken end of a toothpick into the flat bottom of a gumdrop.

    • 5

Attach the gumdrop to the wreath by pushing the pointed end of the toothpick into the styrofoam wreath.

    • 6

Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the wreath is completely covered in gumdrops.

    • 7

Make a bow out of the decorative ribbon and attach to the wire loop.

    • 8

Hang the wreath from the wire loop on your front door or in a window.

Tips & Warnings

  • Alternate red and white gumdrops for a Christmas wreath.

  • Use orange, yellow and black for Halloween.

  • Supervise young children with the toothpicks.

  • Do not let young children eat the gumdrops off the wreath.
