How to Make a Spooky Skeleton

When decorating the room for Halloween, add an element of silliness with this easy-to-make stretchy skeleton. It is also simple enough to be accomplished by preschool children.

  • 4 (9 inch x 1 inch) strips of white paper
  • 1 (12 inch x 1 inch) strip of white paper
  • 1 full sheet of white paper

Instructions

  1. How To Make A Spooky Skeleton

    • 1

      Fold strips of paper into 1-inch accordion folds. To create an accordion fold, fold paper back and forth into a 1-inch wide square.

      Attach the arms. Staple the arms on both sides of the 12 inch length body. These will be the arms and should be positioned near the top of the body.

      Staple the legs to the bottom fold of the body. Legs should hang down.

      Cut out the face. Using the full sheet of white paper, cut out the head in the shape of an oval. Embellish the face by drawing eye sockets with a black marker.

      To create a floating skeleton look, hang the skeleton from the ceiling by using fishing line.
