How to Have Healthy Potluck Meals at Work
Potlucks have been around for years. Having one at work on a regular basis is a good strategy for getting employees to meet and greet in a casual, relaxed setting. But potlucks can be filled with mayonnaise-based salads, fried chicken and brownies. Making these meals healthier but still tasty might be tricky, but they are worth the effort. Have a salad potluck lunch. Challenge your group to use healthier dressing like olive oil and balsamic vinegar rather than the usual mayo-based ranch or blue cheese ones. You may also ask people to offer their dressing on the side so people are in charge of how much dressing they need or want.

Have a grilled potluck. Have people bring is dishes that contain grilled meats like chicken or beef. Or encourage the use of grilled fish like salmon. Have available recipes for grilled vegetable, fruit dishes and desserts.
