How to Play the Austin Powers Drinking Game

The Austin Powers movies are widely known and loved as knockoffs of the James Bond films. They are fine fodder for drinking games, in which players watch a movie with a large amount of alcohol (usually beer) and take a sip every time a particular event or line occurs in the movie. (This game is to be played by individuals who are 21 and over. Do not play the Austin Powers Drinking Game by yourself or unattended. The Austin Powers Drinking Game is not associated with New Line Cinema in any way.)

Things You'll Need

• Beer (or other alcoholic beverages)
• "Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery" DVD

Instructions

1. Start the movie. Pour alcoholic drinks (usually beer) for all players. Keep plenty of extra alcohol on hand.

2. Take one sip every time a character says the following words or phrases: "shag," "smashing," "groovy," "Yeah, baby," "Oh, behave" or "swing."

3. Take one sip each time Dr. Evil holds his pinkie to his mouth or makes quotation marks with his fingers.

4. Take one sip each time there is a musical interlude during a scene change.

5. Take one sip each time Dr. Evil tells his son to "Shh!"

6. Take one sip every time Mr. Bigglesworth is seen or heard.

7. Take one sip every time a character in the movie ( usually Austin ) takes a drink of anything or toasts by saying "Clinkie."

8. Take one sip each time Austin growls.

Tips & Warnings

• Keep beer or other alcohol on hand, because you will run out of drinks quickly.

• Do not play this game if you are under 21.

• Do not play this game alone.
