1
Install a pull or handle that acts as a knob. This is a simple task, where only one hole is needed for installation. These knobs are almost located dead center in the face of the drawer. To install your own handle, first mark the location of the hole on the outside face of the drawer with a pencil. Make sure that the mark is exactly half the distance between the top and bottom and half the distance between the two sides. Next drill a whole large enough, so that the threaded bolt passes through the hole. Finally thread the bolt into the handle until the handle is tight.

2
Install a handle pull that has two points of attachment. This means you will have to make a pair of marks on the front of the drawer, so that the drawer is dead center along both the horizontal and vertical dimensions.

3
Marking the vertical axis. Take your measurement and divide in half. The best way is to measure the horizontal distance and make a halfway mark for the width of the drawer face. Now, measure the gap in the handle pull that exists between the threaded inserts, where the machine screws will be located. Be sure to measure from center to center. Now divide this number in half and locate one mark on each side of the center mark, so that it is situated half the distance away. You can double check your math by holding the pull next to the two marks to make sure they line up correctly. Make sure everything is lined-up perfectly before you start drilling.

4
Drill both holes. Make sure the final size of the hole is big enough, so that the machine screw that is supplied by the manufacturer fits snugly through the hole.
-
5
Insert each machine screw through the hole and tighten the screw from the inside of the drawer until the drawer pull is snug and tight.

Tips & Warnings
Always start the hole for the machine screws from the outside of the drawer and drill towards the inside. This is done to hide any chips of wood that tear loose when the point of the drill breaks through to the other side. If you drill slowly or use a pilot hole, then this should not happen.
Make sure everything is lined-up perfectly before you start drilling your first hole in the face of the drawer, because a mistake at this point is very hard to cover up.
