1
Select a wall basket that will fit your space and decor. Wall baskets have one flat side that lays flush against the wall and can be found at most craft stores. Using Christmas color paints, paint "Noel" on the front of the basket and set aside to dry.

2
Cut a piece of floral arrangement foam to fit in the bottom of the basket. Drop about 5 drops of scented oil on the foam. Pine, balsam and peppermint are great scents for Christmas baskets. Place the foam inside the basket.

Put the holly in first. You can use the longer stems to hang over the edges of the basket; just be careful not to hide your lettering. Next, insert the flowers. Make the arrangement nice and full. Poinsettias and white carnations are a great combination for this basket.

Put in five or six candy cane sticks in various places in your arrangement. You can find all kinds of Christmas ornaments on sticks for floral arrangements at the local craft store. Let them stick up just a little higher than the flowers. Hang your basket on the wall, and you're done.
