I was looking at my counters today and I had a little bit of this and a little bit of that so I created what I call End of the Season Stew. I love the summer and all the veggies but unfortunately Fall is here and are fresh veggies that come with the Summer season are getting less.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1/2 Head Purple cabbage
  • 4 or 5 cloves of garlic (they were small ones)
  • 5 Medium potatoes
  • 1 Zucchinni
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Green peppers
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 1 Pound of ground Turkey
  • salt and pepper to taste
  1. Step 1

Take all your veggies and cut them into bite size pieces. Cover them with water and turn on low and simmer for hours.

  2. Step 2

Brown your ground turkey. Put Black pepper and salt in to taste.

  3. Step 3

Put your browned ground turkey into your pan of veggies and let simmer for a few more hours. The low simmer lets the flavors blend together.

  4. Step 4

    Serve up and enjoy.

  5. Step 5

Daniel 1:12-15 "Please test your servants for ten days: Give us nothing but vegetables to eat and water to drink. Then compare our appearance with that of the young men who eat the royal food, and treat your servants in accordance with what you see." So he agreed to this and tested them for ten days. At the end of the ten days they looked healthier and better nourished than any of the young men who ate the royal food.

Tips & Warnings
  • I let my cook from 10:30 to 4:30. It can't simmer to long.
  • Peanut Butter bread makes the meal complete.
  • This could have been made totally with vegetables but I threw that in for my husband.
