Remembering all of the family recipes and traditions from year to year can be troublesome. In the hustle and bustle of a busy family, how can you be sure that all the best things are being passed down? Creating a Christmas Traditions Notebook will keep your sentimental traditions alive.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 3 ring Binder
  • Indexed tab dividers
  • Photos
  1. Step 1

Create sectioned tab dividers for recipes, decorations, tree traditions, gift-giving traditions, shopping traditions, community service traditions, party traditions, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

  2. Step 2

In each section, write out what traditions are important to your family. Consider using the computer to type out these traditions. When you're printing recipes, be sure to include a picture of Grandma making the Pumpkin pie, or the 1981 holiday table.

  3. Step 3

Get the input of your siblings and your children. Also, include some of your spouse's favorite family traditions. You might want to make a note of when each tradition started, how it's evolved over the years and your favorite memories surrounding it.
