Sweet-sour sauce is a popular dip sauce for lumpiang shanghai or any fried fish.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. white vinegar
  • 5 tsps. cornstarch, dissolved in 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp. Ketchup
  • 1-2 tsps. chili powder
  1. Step 1

    Combine sugar, white vinegar, ketchup, and chili powder.

  2. Step 2

    Bring to a boil.

  3. Step 3

    Thicken with cornstarch mixture.

  4. Step 4

    Remove from stove and allow to cool.
