World of Warcraft is a fun and challenging game. However, I have wasted a lot of time waiting for lifts to take me down from high places. With a mage, there are three ways to avoid taking fall damage.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • A mage.
  1. Step 1

First, let's review the three ways to avoid taking fall damage (and save a lot of time!)

The first and most obvious way is to use the spell "Slow Fall". This is a fun spell, but still takes a lot of time and requires Light Feathers.

The second way is to use Ice Block in midair. This option works too, but there is a cooldown on ice block and it's generally a pain in the butt to have to debuff Ice block when you are done.

The method I'm describing uses Blink.

  2. Step 2

OK. So, you're at the edge of a cliff. Jump!

  3. Step 3

Right as you touch down on the ground, use blink. Your character shoots forward a few yards, but no harm done! Congratulations!

It may take a few tries to get the timing down, but it's very simple and a great time saver.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure you have mana before you jump.
  • Make sure you will not hit a ledge or something that you are not prepared for. Try to jump as far from the wall as possible to ensure a safe landing.
