Make Vanilla Milkshake

Craving something rich and creamy without a lot of fuss? Make a vanilla milkshake! This recipe will show you how to make vanilla milkshakes with only three ingredients. Simple, delicious and faster than going to the drive through!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1 cup half and half or milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Whipped Cream (optional)
  1. Step 1

In a blender, combine 2 cups of vanilla ice cream with 1 cup of half and half and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

If you don't have half and half, you can substitute milk, but the milkshake won't be as creamy. Use more for a thinner shake or less for a thicker shake.

  2. Step 2

Blend ingredients on high until smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds. The milkshake should not be lumpy. If it is too thick, add a splash of half and half until you reach the desired consistency.

  3. Step 3

Pour into chilled glasses and top with whipped cream (optional). Serve immediately.

Tips & Warnings
  • Try adding some fruit of your choice, such as strawberries or banana, for a fruity shake.
