Step 1
Make sure you have interviewed and hired a good veternarian. Have a backup plan for secondary veternarian, or emergency animal hospital.
Purchase pet insurance for your puppy. -
Step 2
SYMPTOMS:
• Diarrhea / Loose Stool (sometimes bloody or foul smelling)
• Vomiting (more than 2-3X)
• Lethargic or Depressed
• Not Drinking and possibly not eating much
• Temperature of 102+ ( not always)
• Tender Tummy
With these symptoms go to vet r emergency clinic immediately. -
Step 3
Determination is made by blood test. Ask for rapid blood test with results within 15 minutes or so.
You cannot know if it is worms or intestinal blockage or Parvo without the proper test.
