Painting can be challenging, but preparing the right way can make the job that much easier!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

    Remove all the electrical cover plates that are on your light switches & outlets.

    Also remove lighting fixtures and window treatments.

  2. Step 2

    Remove all door knobs & tape off the lock that's at the edge of the door

  3. Step 3

    Buy a plastic drop cloth (sold at store like Loews or Home Depot) to protect your furniture from paint splatter

    Also be sure to protect the floors (whether carpeted or wood) with a drop cloth.

Tips & Warnings
  • Keep children & pets away from paint
  • Always use proper ventilation when painting
