Step 1

*Become a secret shopper.* Please do not join a scam company online. Do not pay a company for "inside tips" on how to become a secret shopper. There is likely at least one REAL secret shopper company in your area. Use Yellow Pages to locate a local secret shopper agency. You should have the ability to speak to a staff member in person. I have worked for several companies starting in college and this can be a great way to eat wonderful meals and get paid.
Step 2

*Volunteer for a medial study.* Yes, it sounds creepy, but you can earn great money for relatively little work. In college I did everything from record my experience with contacts to spending the night at a hospital and getting x-rays. Do not sign up for a study that you are not comfortable with though. All of my studies were non-invasive. You can get paid from $20- $500 for most studies. Look up the terms "medical+study+ your location" online to find studies near you.
Step 3

*Resell items on Craigslist.* This is really simple. Look at the "free" items section on Craigslist. The best time is at the end of the month when people are moving and just need to unload items that they could not sell. Pick up those items and then post them on Craigslist in the appropriate "for sale" category. You can also sell your own items on Craigslist. Get rid of all of the items that you have accumulated, but do not use.

*Babysit.* While many of us have not done this since we were teenagers, it is still a very good way to earn spending money.
