How to Build a Fire Starter

This easy to make fire starter will come in handy any time you need to start a camp fire or get charcoal started.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• 1 small paper cup
• 5 cotton balls
• Petroleum jelly

1. Roll each cotton ball in a generous amount of petroleum jelly and place in a small paper cup.

2. About 5 cotton balls covered with petroleum jelly will burn for about 10 minutes.

3. When ready to use, please cup under firewood or charcoal and light the edge of the paper cup.

Tips & Warnings

• Make several of these ahead of time and store in a plastic bag.
• Keep away from children.
