This easy to make fire starter will come in handy any time you need to start a camp fire or get charcoal started.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • 1 small paper cup
  • 5 cotton balls
  • Petroleum jelly
  1. Step 1

    Roll each cotton ball in a generous amount of petroleum jelly and place in a small paper cup.

  2. Step 2

    About 5 cotton balls covered with petroleum jelly will burn for about 10 minutes.

  3. Step 3

    When ready to use, please cup under firewood or charcoal and light the edge of the paper cup.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make several of these ahead of time and store in a plastic bag.
  • Keep away from children.
