Make Gourmet Coffee in Your Kitchen

Who has the time or extra money to be picking up tasty gourmet coffee everyday?! Especially with the way that the economy is, not a lot of people have the money to be buying these "liquid treats" on a daily basis. Here are some great tips on how to make gourmet coffee in your kitchen!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • regualar coffee (nothing special)
  • coffee pot and filters
  • your favorite spices or extracts
  1. Step 1

Pour the ground coffee into the filter basket, as you'd normally do. Add a few drops of your favorite extract (vanilla, almond, etc.) or sprinkle in some spice (cinnamon, unsweetened cocoa powder, etc.).

  2. Step 2

Now brew the coffee as usual. Use about 2 drops of extract for 3-4 cups of coffee. Use about 1/4 t. of a spice for 3-4 cups of coffee. You can mix and match the extracts and/or spices for whatever flavors you'd like.

  3. Step 3

Some delicous spices are cinnamon, unsweetened cocoa, nutmeg, allspice, and even orange zest. Some tasty extracts include vanilla, almond, or even orange.
