Things You'll Need:
- Cupcakes, treats and other party food
- a fun Halloween movie
- enough candy and fruit for each child to fill a bag
- a prize, could be as simple as a small toy and bag of treats
- Enthusiasm
-
Step 1
Plan your party at least a week before Halloween so others know when to come. Make cute invitations or grab some from the dollar store. Invite the children to come in costume.
-
Step 2
Have fun Halloween treats and refreshments. Halloween cupcakes or cookies are good.
-
Step 3
Show a halloween movie appropriate for the children's age group. Try to choose something current, rather than something everyone has seen.
-
Step 4
Have a candy hunt! Hide Candy around the house and yard, just like an easter egg hunt. Let the kids keep their candy, but award a special basket with party favors and candy to the child who finds the most!
-
Step 5
Make a bag or basket of candy, fruit and party favors for each child to take home. Make sure, as with trick or treat, no child goes home empty handed!
