How to Make Candy Corn for Halloween!

Candy corn is loved by almost all Halloween trick or treaters...and the best part is you can make it right at home and save money!

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• 2/3 cup white corn syrup
• 1/3 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 1/2 cup powdered sugar
• 1/3 cup powered milk
• 1 tsp of vanilla
• 1/4 tsp of salt
• your choice of food coloring

1. The first step to making candy corn is to bring the sugar, butter, and corn syrup to a boil in a pot. Stir constantly while it is coming to a boil and then let the ingredients boil for 5 minutes just stirring occasionally.

2. Next remove the candy corn pre-mixture from the heat immediately and add the vanilla

3. Combine the powdered milk and powdered sugar and the salt in a separate bowl, stir together.

4. Then all at once add the wet candy corn pre - mixture to your dry ingredients. Put in the food coloring of your choice.

5. Now you have your candy corn mixture and all you have to do is to shape it into fun Halloween shapes and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

• Warning - eating too much candy corn can and will lead to a stomachache!
