1. Head Over to GURL.
   
   While there are other sites where you can build the boy or man of your dreams, one of the most popular is located at gurl.com. Once on the site, do a search for “virtual boyfriend” by typing the term into the search box at the top of the page. You'll be presented with the “cybersweetie generator”, your own personal boyfriend creator. If only real life were this simple.

2. Create Your Man.
   
   Once you've chosen the sex, you'll be asked what type of boyfriend you'd like. Your choices include cleancut, geeky, wild, and chill. In the real world, boys of the wild and chill type may be too much of a handful but they're more manageable in the virtual world, so choose based on personal preference. You'll then be asked to check such options as clothing, and hair length. A rough sketch will emerge of the man you've created.

3. Accept What You've Created or Improvise.
   
   If you don't like the virtual boyfriend you've created, you'll be given the chance to create an entirely new one. If you're fairly satisfied with your creation, you have the option of customizing him to have the traits and personality you'd like. You do this by answering a series of questions presented to you by the cybersweetie generator. You can even customize his birth sign! The cybersweetie generator then asks a series of questions about your life and hobbies to make sure the two of you are compatible. This is sounding better and better, isn't it?

4. Launch Your New Virtual Boyfriend.
   
   Once you click the launch button, the virtual man of your dreams becomes a cyber reality.
   
   He'll now talk to you about things you want to talk about based on the preferences you gave during the creation process. You'll never have to hear him talk about subjects such sports, politics, or old cars that you haven't a moment's interest in.
