How to Decorate a Spider Cupcake for Halloween

Making cupcakes for Halloween is a tradition in my house. This decorative tip is sure to jazz up any old plain cupcake and make it "Spooky".

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Chocolate cupcakes
• Chocolate icing
• Chocolate sprinkles
• 2 pieces of flat candy that could mimic eyes
• Black string licorice
• Clean scissors
• Ruler

1. Frost the cupcakes with the chocolate icing. This is the body of the spider.

2. Cover the cupcakes with the chocolate sprinkles, these will serve as fur or hair for the spiders.

3. Press the eye shaped candies, (could use white icing to draw tem on as well) into the cupcakes.

4. Take the scissors and cut 4-inch pieces off of the licorice, these will serve as the legs. Hold all of the legs together to form a bunch and then bend them in half forming a crease. Take each end and punch them into the cupcake.
