Make this icebowl to either chill seafood dip and shrimp, pour punch, or champagne bottles, it will surprise and delight your guests or host/hostess.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Large bowl that allows approx. 1 in.(2.5 cm) space around a smaller bowl
  • duct tape
  • platter
  • paper doily
  • floater candles
  • your choice of fruits, flowers, assorted seashells
  1. Step 1

    Fill large bowl with 1 inch water. Freeze form base.

  2. Step 2

    Insert small bowl on ice base in large bowl. secure small bowl in center of large bowl with duct tape.

  3. Step 3

    Insert your choice of decor between small and large bowls. Fill with water to within 1 inch of rim. Freeze.

  4. Step 4

    Remove Duct tape. Fill small bowl with lukewarm water to thaw just enough to remove. Set large bowl in sink filled with lukewarm water just long enough to thaw. Remove ice form.

  5. Step 5

    Set on doily centered on deep platter. set small bowl filled with cocktail sauce and shrimp in ice bowl. To transport, keep ice bowl in large bowl until you reach your destination.

  6. Step 6

    Once ice has melted, remove doily and other wilted garnishes. Set 2-3 floater candles in remaining water. Light and enjoy the end-of-a-nice-evening ambience it creates.
