Things You'll Need

  • 4 lbs sushi-grade ahi tuna
  • 5 basil leaves, chopped
  • 4 scallions chopped
  • 2 heaping tbsp. black sesame seeds
  • 4 tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 tbsp. honey
  • 2 tsp. wasabi paste
  • 2 tbsp. low-fat mayonnaise
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 Lemon
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

    • 1

      Combine the tuna, basil, scallions, sesame seeds, soy sauce and honey and form into 12 patties. Keep in the fridge until ready to cook.

      Combine the wasabi paste, mayo, the juice of one-half lemon and one-half lime and add salt and pepper to taste.

      Grill the patties, turning once, until medium-rare.

      Spread your wasabi mayo on those burgers hot off the griddle!
