Here are some easy tips on how to recycle and reuse old towels in smart, new ways!

Things You'll Need:

  1. Step 1

    Pack Safely!

    Protect fragile items when you pack up to move, by wrapping them with an old, clean, recycled towel.

  2. Step 2

    Car Wash!

    Wipe down a freshly washed car with some old towels.

  3. Step 3

    Spring Cleaning!

    Reuse some old towels as rags to clean around the house. You can use them to dust, clean bathrooms, wash walls, etc. Just make sure to wash with hot/warm water and use add bleach to the wash cycle.

  4. Step 4

    Donate Them!

    Take old, clean towels to your local Humane Society or other pet shelter. They'll help make the lives of homeless animals a little more comfortable.

  5. Step 5

    Protect China and other Dishes

    Cut old towels into squares or circles and place them between plates of stacked dishes.
