Step 1
First, you must place your bearded dragon in the palm of your hand with its head facing away from you. You want its tail to be pointing in your direction.

Next, You will want to gently lift its tail to about a 90 degree angle.

Next, You will notice its anal cavity at the base of the tail where it meets the legs.

Step 4
Slightly above the cavity on the tail you will notice either two protruding "lumps" on both sides of the cavity, slightly above on the tail or you will notice a small indention. If you notice an indention you have a female. If you notice two small lumps, then you have a male dragon.
