Instructions

    • 1

Heat the rice, beans and meat (a microwave is quickest.)

    • 2

Start assembling the ingredients by spooning cooked rice into the bottom of your bowl.

    • 3

      Spoon beans over rice.

    • 4

Shred or chop your meat of choice and spoon over the beans.

    • 5

Layer your chosen toppings: onions, salsa, tomatoes, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, guacamole or diced avocado and sour cream.

    • 6

Add a drink and a side of tortilla chips for dipping. Eat and enjoy!

Tips & Warnings

  • For a healthier meal, substitute brown rice for white, reduced fat or fat free sour cream for full fat sour cream, and reduced fat cheese for full fat cheese.

  • Of course you can use the same ingredients to make tacos and burritos.
