Lauren Conrad's style is young, simple and pretty. She mixes classic pieces with flirty ones to create a fresh look. Here's how to copy her style!

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1
    The must have classic
    The must have classic

Buy A Chanel 2.55 bag! If you can't afford one and honestly who can, buy a black leather quilted bag with chain handles. They can be found at Lord and Taylor, they have a line called Paradox that sells classy ladylike styles, Macy's or Bloomingdales. I found a faux leather bag that was very similar in style to a Chanel on sale at Kohl's for a grand total of 7 dollars. I won't tell anyone it's not Chanel if you don't!

  2. Step 2
    Subtle ruffles are key
    Subtle ruffles are key

Wear ruffles! In small amounts ruffles look so feminine and sweet. Try a shirt with a ruffled collar or a skirt with a ruffled hem. Lauren Conrad has perfected how to wear ruffles. There is a fine line between feminine and frou frou!

  3. Step 3

Wear solids. Lauren keeps her wardrobe free of fussy patterns (my weakness!) and wears basics in lots of neutral colors. She adds fun with her shoes and many handbags.

  4. Step 4

Try a shift! Lauren knows what works for her body and wears it. Most of her dresses are shift dress that are cut close to the body.

  5. Step 5

Black nails and a headband? Lauren's style is very classic and simple but cool. Her nails were painted black for a long time, so that is what I think of when I picture her overall style. It sharply contrasts her girly headbands and ponytails, but that's what makes it fun and fresh!

  6. Step 6

Sky high heels. She wears heels like these to bring her dog to the vet! Being fabulous is a full time job!
