How to comfort your dog after it vomits?

When your beloved pooch vomits, he/she is very uncomfortable. It is your responsibility as the owner to take care of him.

Things You'll Need

• water
• comfy bed
• lots of love

Instructions

1. Look at the vomit, I know this sounds disgusting. But it needs to be done and responsible owner needs to take good care of their dog. Look to see if the vomit has things that your dog shouldn't swallow. If it's in the vomit, then some of it could still be inside your dog. Take him to the vet immediately.

2. Offer him some room temperature water. It's important that the water is room temperature. It will comfort his stomach and wash the residue in his mouth.

3. Make sure he has a comfy bed to rest in.

4. Give him lots of love. Dogs have emotions too and they respond to a soothing touch.

5. Monitor him to see if he is throwing up repeatedly. If so, he could be seriously sick and take him to the vet immediately.
