Things You'll Need:
- computer with internet access
- cell phone numbers of friends
- name of your friend's cell phone carrier

Step 1
Log in to your computer’s email program.

Step 2
Type your friend’s cell phone number into the “to” box in the email header

Step 3
Type the @ symbol after the phone number

Step 4
Add the text address for your friend’s cell phone carrier after the cell number and @ symbol. Here are the text addresses for the most commonly used cell phone carriers:
Verizon= number @vtext.com
AT&T= number @txt.att.net
T-Mobile= number @tmomail.net
Sprint= number @messaging.sprintpcs.com -
Step 5
Type your message and hit send. Your friend will recieve your email as a text message.

There is no charge for you to send text messages from your computer- and you can type much faster than regular texting!

You can send text directly from the website at http://www.cherple.com or download the app as a desktop icon. No equipment upgrades, registration or purchase is required. And its easy to use.
