Give Good Directions
Give Good Directions

If you are hosting a party, either at your house or at a restaurant, you are sure to have a few guests ask for directions.....read on for ideas on how to give good directions to them....

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

If your party is being held at a restaurant, ask the staff if they have printed directions that they would be able to provide to you. If they do you can send them to guests.

  2. Step 2

If the restaurant does not have directions to give you, you can print your own directions for your guest. You can also email your guests.

There are many websites that give door to door directions. Try mapquest.com or expedia.com.

  3. Step 3

You can also offer your own directions to your guests......

Write down directions, in your own words, from all major highways your guests might use.

Jot down the mileage between turns in your directions......"Turn onto Route 528 and drive 7.2 miles.....at the next traffic light make a left and drive 4.3 miles until you see Miles Street......

  4. Step 4

Always include a phone number that the guest can reach you at, in case they get lost or need help with directions.
