How to Rotate the Tires on a Jaguar X Type

It is recommended that you rotate the tires on your X-Type every 5k-10k miles to keep the wear on the tires even, thus prolonging the life of your tires. Follow the steps below to successfully rotate your tires! **Check out my article on removing stuck tires if you can not remove your tires**

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

• Lug Nut Wrench
• 2 car jacks or hydraulic jacks

1. Loosen the lug nuts on both wheels on the passenger side of the car.

2. Place the two jacks on the passenger side of the car and raise the car until the tires are off the ground.

3. Take out the lug nuts and pull off the tires. Check the tires for even wear (if not even, you may need an alignment).

4. Bring the rear tire to the front and fit the lug nuts back in.

5. Fit the front tire to the rear and put the lug nuts back in.

6. Lower the car back down.

7. Repeat steps 1-5 on the driver's side of the car.

Tips & Warnings

• Make sure your car is on flat ground when jacking it up.
