It is recommended that you rotate the tires on your X-Type every 5k-10k miles to keep the wear on the tires even, thus prolonging the life of your tires. Follow the steps below to successfully rotate your tires! **Check out my article on removing stuck tires if you can not remove your tires**

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Lug Nut Wrench
  • 2 car jacks or hydraulic jacks
  1. Step 1

Loosen the lug nuts on both wheels on the passenger side of the car.

  2. Step 2

Place the two jacks on the passenger side of the car and raise the car until the tires are off the ground.

  3. Step 3

Take out the lug nuts and pull off the tires. Check the tires for even wear (if not even, you may need an alignment).

  4. Step 4

Bring the rear tire to the front and fit the lug nuts back in.

  5. Step 5

Fit the front tire to the rear and put the lug nuts back in.

  6. Step 6

    Lower the car back down.

  7. Step 7

Repeat steps 1-5 on the driver's side of the car.
