Make Southern Pigs In a Blanket

You don't need a southern cookbook, to learn how to cook good southern food. Although most comfort food may not be the healthiest food - it's certainly yummy! Pigs in a blanket is one of the easiest and tasty appetizers recipes ever made! There are plenty of cocktail weiner recipes, however this one is sure to please even the fussiest eater! Ready in 10 minutes!

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Creasant Rolls
  • Sharp Cheese
  • Hot Dog Wienies or you can use cocktail wienies.
  1. Step 1

You need to a pack of hot dog wienies or you can use the small cocktail wieners. I prefer regular hot dogs. You cut them in halves. I'd say about 4 weenies (in half would be 8 pieces). Preheat your oven to about 375 degrees.

  2. Step 2

You should start to shred your sharp cheddar cheese, and put that aside. Start to roll out your creasant rolls onto a cookie sheet or baking pan. It's best to flatten them out as much as possible.

  3. Step 3

Now, you need to add the cheese and wieners and roll the creasant roll up with all the ingredients.

Stick them in the oven for 10 minutes and they are good to go!

Quick, easy and you have a very tasty comfort food!! Enjoy!

Tips & Warnings
  • You can add your own little touch. Maybe sausage instead of hot dogs.
  • If your a vegan....just buy the vegan hot dogs! You could even add some veggies to it!
  • Great for parties.
  • Great for kids.
  • Don't eat too many!! Not the healthiest food in the world. :)
