Things You'll Need:
- college admission
- a computer
- internet access
- self-motivation
-
Step 1
Apply for admission into college. Be sure that you are accepted as a student.
-
Step 2
As with face-to-face courses, you must register for the classes that you wish to take online. A good place to begin is to take your required general education courses.
-
Step 3
In order to be successful, it is important that you dedicate a lot of time, energy and thought to your coursework. It is also essential to be well organized and self motivated.
-
Step 4
Work ahead. Don't wait until the last minute to complete an assignment.
-
Step 5
Ask questions. Questions provide everyone a great opportunity to learn. There is no such thing as a stupid question.

on 1/1/2009 I teach online classes and your tips are right on - the most important thing to remember is that online classes are NOT easier than face-to-face classes - in fact, many students find them harder. But harder is good -- you learn more.
