Step 1
Use allergen reducing products to clean your home.
Vacuum often to pick up hair & dander. There are manufactures that make vacuum models that are specifically for allergies, such as Dyson.
Wash your walls, sweep & mop. Remember a clean house will mean less dander......and less allergies. -
Step 2
Make sure your pets skin & coat are healthy. This will prevent dry skin, and your pet will produce less dander.
Groom your pet on a daily basis to help them get a healthier coat. -
Step 3
Choose a breed of cat or dog that sheds less frequently.
Certain K9 breeds, such as Poodles, Bichon Frises, Terriers tend to produce less dander, and shed less often. -
Step 4
Try to restrict your pet's access from the rooms that the person with the allergies spends a lot of time in.
-
Step 5
Change your air-filters often.
This will assure clean air in your home.... and less allergens.
